I see the tumultuous sea
The mute witness
Of our unshared love.
The waves are our dreams
Always receding from the shore
The sea shore is our vast world
Always stands still.

I see the cloudy sky
The lone blessing
Of our lost desires
The single cloud is our soul
Always vanishing from the sky
The gloomy sky is our altar
Always sacrifices joy of arrival.
